South Presbyterian Church

ECUM (East Central United Ministries) has been serving our churches and community for over thirty years. ECUM sponsors the speakers for our joint worship services with Clinton Avenue Reformed Church during the summer months. ECUM also provides Communion once a month to the seniors at the Senior Citizen Center, and sponsors the homeless overflow shelter program in the winter. In addition, ECUM sponsors our Ash Wednesday and Good Friday Services that we participate in jointly with the Clinton Ave. congregation.

The Senior High Youth Group is under the leadership of John Koromhas. They meet every Sunday night at the Church House. The group went on their annual winter retreat at Paradise Lake, and also participated in a work weekend there. They fed the homeless at St. John the Divine Church in New York City and also went shopping to fill Thanksgiving food baskets for local needy families. The Sr. High Bowl-a-Thon was the first of several events to help fund their mission trip to Heifer Project International's Ceres Center.
